KWSH Charity Golf 2019

On Thursday, 18 July 2019, Special Guest, Professor Yaacob Ibrahim, Member of Parliament for Jalan Besar GRC, and Mr Wong Kan Seng, Patron of KWSH, together with 148 golfers, gathered at the Sentosa Golf Club to golf in support of our fundraising efforts. With the generous support of our sponsors and donors, a total of $446,000 was raised through this annual Charity Golf event. The contributions will go a long way to sustain the daily operations of the Hospital and enable KWSH to continue to serve the needy elderly in the community.

After enjoying a great game of golf at the lush New Tanjong Course, the golfers adjourned for a hearty dinner. We were honoured to have Mr Tan Chuan-Jin, Speaker of Parliament, join us for dinner as the guest of honour. During dinner, Mr Tan Chuan-Jin presented tokens of appreciation to our event sponsors and Patron, Mr Wong Kan Seng, gave out the tournament prizes to our top golfers, while Special Guest, Professor Yaacob, completed the fun and excitement of the evening by presenting the top lucky draw prizes to the lucky winners.

KWSH would like to thank Mr Tan Chuan-Jin, Professor Yaacob Ibrahim, as well as Mr Wong Kan Seng for taking time out of their busy schedules to grace the occasion. The Board of Directors and management would also like to express their gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to all donors and sponsors for their generous contributions that made this year’s Charity Golf a success.
