To Parents With Love Charity Concert 2021

Kwong Wai Shiu presented the “To Parents With Love” Chu Mimi charity concert on 30 October 2021 at the Singapore Conference Hall. The annual concert of KWSH, traditionally held in May to celebrate Mother’s Day, had been postponed in accordance with Ministry of Health’s advisory.

Albeit on a smaller scale, the concert was as enchanting as previous years’, celebrating the love for one’s parents. After helming the show at the 2019 edition, well-known artiste Chu Mimi returned as the main act and captivated the audience with delightful Cantonese and Mandarin classics. Local favourite Lin Youfa appeared as a surprise supporting act and blew the audience away with a joint performance with Chu Mimi, forming an euphonious harmony of melodious pleasure. Amidst the current gloomy COVID-19 climate, the voices of Chu Mimi and Lin Youfa were akin a songbird’s – a timely and welcoming offering.

The highlight of the night was the announcement that $738,888 had been raised through the event. KWSH is truly grateful for the tremendous support received and the funds will certainly go a long way in serving the needy elderly as we continue to extend our reach to the community.
