网上出现有心人士将广惠肇留医院的照片篡改之后，利用假照片在社交媒体推介一种自称能够改善糖尿病病情的产品。广惠肇留医院特此声明，该产品与本院毫无关联。我们对此已向警方报案。

Tests Completed, All KWSH Nursing Home Staff and Residents Cleared of COVID-19
检测完成，广惠肇所有疗养院职员及院友并未感染冠病
With the support of AIC and TTSH, KWSH has completed the full testing and assurance program for all the staff and residents in the Nursing Home. All the test results were negative.
We would also like to update on our affected resident. We would like to thank TTSH/NCID for the good care and treatment of our resident. The doctors have confirmed that our resident is not infected with COVID-19 and once her other medical conditions are stabilised, she can safely return to KWSH. We are in contact with the resident’s family/caregiver and they are happy with the information.
在护联中心与陈笃生医院的支持下，广惠肇已为本院的所有疗养院职员和院友完成了检测工作。所有检测皆呈阴性，并未出现任何感染病例。
在此我们也跟进报告之前受影响的院友，我们感谢陈笃生医院和国家传染病中心给予该名院友的良好照护及治疗。医生已经证实这名院友没有感染2019冠病，一旦确保她的其他健康情况稳定，便可安全回到广惠肇。我们已同院友的家人和照护者取得联系，报告这喜悦的消息。

All KWSH Nursing Home Staff Cleared of COVID-19
广惠肇所有疗养院职员冠病检测呈阴性
KWSH has been continuously putting in our best efforts to implement the necessary measures to tackle the COVID-19 situation. First of all, we would like to thank everyone for continuing to shower us with your support. We apologise if there were times when we had not been able to swiftly respond to some of your queries.
Our affected resident is well and we await eagerly for her recovery and discharge from TTSH. We last spoke to her family yesterday and will continue to stay in touch with them.
Starting from 29 April, KWSH has ramped up our swab testing for all of our staff and personnel working in our nursing home building in phases. The whole exercise was completed yesterday, involving a total of over 450 personnel, including KWSH’s own staff as well as outsourced staff. We received the test results in batches till today and all of them were negative. All of these personnel are currently well. As for our rest of our residents, KWSH will continue to be vigilant and will do the necessary care and testing according to MOH’s protocols for COVID-19 prevention and treatment.
In line with the Government’s recent advisory, we have also stepped up our accommodation support for our resident-facing staff. For those staying onsite, staff working in the same ward are grouped together in the staff quarters and separated from those from other wards. Each group also has its designated dining area and toilets to minimise contact amongst the groups. We have also enhanced the space in the quarters to further ensure adequate social distancing. As for staff staying outside the Hospital, we are working closely with AIC to facilitate their lodging and will ensure that they are in a protected living environment with similar space and support.
Vigilance is crucial at any point in time. We will continue screening all of our residents and staff and will isolate those displaying symptoms to ensure the health of everyone. KWSH remains committed to taking the necessary precautions and measures and will continue to provide a safe place for both our staff to serve our residents and for our residents to receive care.
广惠肇过去数日持续地竭尽所能实施必要措施来对抗2019冠病疫情。我们首先要感谢大家不断给予本院支持。对于无法第一时间向那些对事态表示关注的朋友告知最新情况，本院深表歉意。
日前一本院院友被确诊感染，目前她的情况良好，广惠肇全体迫切期待院友很快能够痊愈返院。本院昨日才刚刚与院友家人联系，并将继续与他们保持联络。
自4月29日起，本院已加强检测工作，为疗养院大楼内的所有职员分批进行冠病检测。检测工作已于昨日完成，包括本院外包服务的员工在内的超过450名职员接受了检测。院方连日来直至今日所接获的检测结果，所有职员的检测皆呈阴性而职员们目前都身体状况良好。至于本院的其他院友，我们也继续保持警惕并将遵守卫生部的冠病预防程序，为院友提供必要的照护和检测。
配合我国政府的最新指示，我们也为那些在工作上需要与院友接触的职员调整了住宿安排。住在院区内员工宿舍的职员都依据他们所服务的病房而被安排和同病房的同事住在一起，避免与其他病房的同事往来。每一组职员也有他们指定专用的用餐区和厕所，减少各组之间的接触。我们也改善了宿舍内的空间，确保宿舍内达到安全社交距离。至于那些居住在院外的职员，我们正与护联中心紧密合作，着手处理他们的住宿事宜，确保他们的住宿是个受到保护且同样空间充裕的环境，并且也给予这些居住在外的职员相同的支持。
时时保持警惕至关重要。本院将继续检查所有院友和职员的健康情况，并对出现相关症状的人进行隔离，以保障大家的健康。我们决心做好一切必要的预防工作，实施所有的必要措施，继续提供一个安全的环境，让职员和院友分别在这里安心地工作和休养。

Affected Residents and Staff Tested Negative
受影响院友和职员检测呈阴性
Last week, we announced that one of our residents had been infected with COVID-19. It has been a challenging week for the affected residents, their families and all of us at KWSH.
During this period, we also received many words of support from all of you. Thank you to all who have reached out to us to offer a kind word or other forms of assistance. It is encouraging to know that all of you continue to stand with us throughout this difficult time. We are also grateful to our residents’ family members for their patience and will continue to address their concerns while working closely with the authorities to ensure the safety and well-being of all. We apologise too if we had been unable to address all the queries promptly as screening and testing were still going on throughout the last week.
Our affected resident is now in a stable condition and is currently receiving care in a general ward in Tan Tock Seng Hospital. We have been keeping in touch with our resident and her family, and will continue to provide them with the necessary support until she can be discharged back to KWSH.
Upon receiving the news of a confirmed case last week, our staff and residents who had been in close contact with the affected resident had also been sent for swabbing tests. The last round of test results came in late last night (29 Apr). All of their test results were negative and they are currently well.
The Government has also expanded its testing capabilities, stepping up tests for healthcare workers in Nursing Homes as part of its protection and monitoring strategy. KWSH will ride on this new push and all of our staff and personnel working in our nursing home building will be subject to the ramped up testing. We have since started the swab testing and will complete the exercise by early next week.
We will remain alert, vigilant and will continue to abide strictly by the precautionary measures and advisories from MOH and AIC. KWSH will stand united and strong amidst the challenges.
本院一名院友于上个星期被确诊感染2019冠状病毒疾病。过去一个星期，其他受影响的院友、家人以及本院全体上下也同样度过了煎熬的时期。
所幸在这期间，我们收到了很多朋友对我们的支持与鼓励。感谢大家的善心话语，也谢谢你们通过各种方式为我们提供援助。在艰难时刻有你们与我们携手同心对我们来说是莫大的鼓舞。广惠肇也感激院友们的家人给予院方的耐心， 我们必将继续与有关当局紧密配合，以保障所有人的安全与健康。由于此前各种健康检查和检测工作仍正在进行中，因而无法及时回复一些询问，希望大家多多包涵。
受感染的院友情况稳定，目前人在陈笃生医院的普通病房接受照护。本院一直都与院友以及她的家人保持联系，并且会在院友住院期间继续给予他们必要的支持。
院友确诊感染之后，与该院友有过密切接触的其他院友和工作人员也已经接受了冠病检测。检测结果已于4月29日深夜出炉，所有检测皆呈阴性而这些院友和职员们的健康情况都良好。
随着我国政府加强检测力度，采取保护及监察策略增加对疗养院医护人员的检测，所有在本院的疗养院大楼内工作的职员和工作人员都将被安排接受检测。检测工作已经展开，将在下个星期初完成。
本院务必保持警惕并严格遵守卫生部和互联中心所制定的预防措施及所有指示。广惠肇誓言上下一心，坚韧不拔地面对挑战。

Confirmed Case at KWSH
广惠肇确诊病例
Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital (KWSH) has been informed by the Ministry of Health (MOH) on 22 April 2020 that a 86-year-old nursing home resident has been infected with COVID-19 (case 10,127). The resident’s test results confirmed the infection on 21 April 2020. She is currently warded at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH).
We are receiving updates directly from TTSH regarding our resident’s condition. KWSH will continue to reach out to the family to keep them posted and render them the necessary support.
Necessary control measures have been implemented at the KWSH premises in compliance with the guidelines from MOH and Agency for Integrated Care (AIC). These include twice-daily temperature taking, split zones for the wards and staff, and wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Visits to the nursing home had been suspended since 2 April 2020.
Upon notification of this case, we have further enhanced our safety measures as guided by MOH. The affected ward had undergone thorough disinfection and deep cleansing. We will also restrict the movement of our staff and residents, and step up the use of PPE. We have also reiterated to our staff to keep strictly to infection control and hand hygiene practices.
We are working closely with MOH on contact tracing as well as identifying those who may need to be quarantined. We will continue to closely monitor their health, which is our top priority.
We understand the concerns that our residents’ family might have and would like to assure all of you that our residents’ safety remain our priority. We will continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure the well-being of all our clients, staff and their families. We seek your understanding and patience during this period.
广惠肇留医院于2020年4月22日接获卫生部通知，本院一名86岁的疗养院院友确诊感染2019冠状病毒疾病（我国第10127起病例）。院友是在4月21日通过检测结果被确诊感染，目前在陈笃生医院接受治疗。
本院持续向陈笃生医院了解院友情况，适时通知院友家人并给予他们必要的支持。
广惠肇依据卫生部及护联中心指导采取必要的管控措施，包括每日两次测量体温、将病房分隔为不同分区、确保员工的工作范围保持在各自的分隔区内以及要求职员穿戴适当的个人保护器具。疗养院也自4月2日起谢绝所有探访。
在接获此病例通知后，我们在卫生部的指导下进一步增强了安全措施。受影响的病房已经进行彻底的消毒和清洗。我们还限制了院友和职员的行动，并提升职员对于个人保护器具的使用标准。广惠肇也向职员重申控制感染的各种程序以及手部卫生的重要，要求他们严守这些措施。
本院紧密配合卫生部的追踪调查工作，也协助确认必须接受隔离的人士。我们最关切的依旧是大家的健康，接下来会继续密切留意所有相关人员的健康情况。
对广惠肇其他院友的家人来说，我们可以理解你们此时必然会感到担忧与不安。本院必将竭尽所能确保院友的安全，视此为我们的优先任务。我们会积极关注最新情况，为保护所有院友、职员和家人做出最大努力。艰难时期，我们特别要感谢你们在各方面给予的谅解和耐心。谢谢。
